Starting November 2021, articles approved by peer review in ABCS Health Sciences will be available online sooner. After proofreading by authors, articles waiting in the processing queue for layout and publication will be available in the Ahead of Print section.
"Ahead-of-print" articles will have the definitive DOI, so they are ready to be cited. Other publication details (year, volume, e-location) will be defined only after final publication.

Articles on COVID-19 will have priority in the order of publication. The remaining articles will continue to be published following the sequence of the approval date.

To rush the availability of articles, ABCS Health Sciences adopts continuous publication starting with volume 45. Other changes introduced in 2020 include updating the internet portal to the most recent Open Journal System platform (OJS 3) and a new layout for the articles.
